The Modern Square planters used for this project were made large enough to house trees, their root systems, and soil, without being too heavy for placement on a terrace. And since our Modern planters are made of the lighter-weight fiberglass material, landscape designers often prefer using them over heavier materials for projects like terraces, rooftops, and balconies—where weight needs to be considered as part of the design.
