Noe Valley Town Square

The Noe Valley Town Square, San Francisco was designed to bring the community together to enjoy, relax and meet with neighbors. This community venue houses a weekly farmer’s market, dances, concerts, movies, fitness and meditation classes, as well as events for children, including a playground. Maximizing the space with flexible options and bringing unified design aesthetics were top concerns.

Planters Unlimited rolled up our sleeves to design a unique solution for Noe Valley Town Square’s multi-faceted needs. Knowing modular planters would define the spaces for specific use easily, we created the Modular Curved Planter. With the subtle curve of a comma as inspiration, the Modular Curved Planter is both modern and fluid. Constructed from fiberglass, the planter is sturdy, but lightweight, to make repositioning a breeze with commercial grade castors. The Modular Curved Planter can easily be formed into a circle for an exercise class, or arranged in a fluid line to divide up larger spaces. When a dividing the space is not needed, the Modular Curved Planter tucks away into the outside perimeter of Noe Valley Town Square, adding an extra layer of design.
